The 14th and 15th Amendments had denied them basic rights, such as voting, that blacks - whom many suffragettes considered to be inferior - ha .... She wrote many books about worthy causes such as peace, and endured harsh criticism of her work. Perhaps the most radical of the three, Emma Goldman, took her work for women's rights one step further.
