was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and immigrated to Canada in the years 1820 with his parents when he was five years old. He was educated at Midland District Grammar School and John Cruickshank School in Kingston, Ontario.
John A. McDonald was married in 1843 to Isabelle Cla ....
