.... Leonardo’s remarkable illustrations of the human body elevated drawings into a means of a scientific exposition. It also provided the basic principles for modern scientific illustrations. Leonardo was born in 1452 on is father’s estate at Vinci, near Florence. He grew up and was educated in the same estate.
