But I was looking for things that are in common with the native Indians and the blacks. So I decided to use the book, Wahee .... Part II of Essay .... out half of the tribe at that time. This caused the survivors to move north where they found Like-a- Fishhook Village. Waheenee at the age of six lost her mother which her great-grandmother and her grandmother raised her. So Waheenee had many mothers that had brought her up. Waheenee goes through various changes throughout life. There's a lot of human interest in Waheenee's story.
